Our Boats

Whale Watching Akureyri has two fundamentally different vessels and thus offering you exceptional variety and tours to choose from - a family friendly big boat tours or high powered 12 seater RIBs.

Express Whale Watching: The RIBs are small and fast boats that get you to the viewing area quickly and cover a big area as we search for the wildlife. This means a bigger chance of spotting whales, dolphins and bird life with out disturbing them in their natural habitat.

Classic Whale Watching: We choose on which boat we will operate the tour prioritising the comfort and safety of our passengers. It depends on the number of bookings, sea conditions and the weather conditions on the day which boat we sail on each time.
