Today, we started the day with a very sunny sky, even though it clouded over as we sailed north from Akureyri. The fjord today was quite smooth despite the cold wind. However, since we had to travel all the way to Hrísey, the wind in that area became even stronger, and as a result, the waves also increased. And it was E of Hrísey where we spotted 2 Humpback whales. They were both feeding in proximity, but they went their separate ways, so in the end, we stayed with Ryder as Skúli, our newest whale, swam southward.
