The wind was low and the sun was piercing the clouds. During the morning and afternoon classic, we were able to found a Humpback whale and a few minke whale around green bouey. The evening started with strong winds and cloudy skies on our 20.30 classic tour, after half an hour of sailing we finally spotted two minke whales close to Hjalteyri. After spending quite some time with the minkes a distant blow made us go for that and we discovered it being a humpback whale, it was travelling very fast, so fast that we totally lost it at one point. We found it again north of Strytu, it was with another humpback whale and they were feeding! On the way back even the sky opened up and the midnight sun was shining.
