Another amazing summer day in the fjord! Today we went out on three tours and we’ve had incredible encounter with Humpback whales. This morning we sailed out from Akureyri having amazind flat sea, at first we found dolphins a little bit further than Hjalteyri, we stayed with them for a while and head out north. Just above Hrisey we found 5 Humpback whales - 4 coming up and diving together right next to us and one more circling around but keeping the distance. Stunning view and beautiful light, the whole experience was just unbeliavable. In the afternoon we had a bit bigger swell in the sea but weather conditions just as great as before.
