The Common Guillemot is a slender seabird with dark brown to black plumage, a white belly, and a long, pointed bill. An excellent swimmer and diver, it spends much of its life at sea, diving underwater to catch fish and other marine creatures. Common Guillemots nest in large colonies on steep, rocky cliffs of Iceland.
