From the 20th of April to 15th of August, you can enjoy the puffins in a personal and exclusive way on a private puffin watching tour in our fast & fun RIB speedboats.
Each boat can seat up to 12 passengers along with the wildlife guide and experienced captain. Your guide will tell you interesting stories and facts about the puffins, their everyday lives and struggles in Iceland. You can then ask your guide any question and enjoy the personal and private experience.
The boats are specially designed to get you close to the islands to observe the daily habits of these fluffy little birds. We will even turn the engines off when possible to give the birds (and you) some peace and quiet to enjoy nature. We can stop at couple of different places around the islands and each of them is unique on it's own with different viewpoints.
The summer is the best time to experience the birds and wildlife of the bay and islands just outside Reykjavík City. Puffins, auks, gannets and an incredible variety of other sea birds dominate the skies and sea cliffs just a few minutes sailing from the Old Harbour.
As these boats are the quickest in the harbour you will be able to spend the majority of the tour with the birds and less time sailing between the islands.
